Bloober Team recommends that players only rely on official Silent Hill F website and social media channels for information. They emphasized that any website or social media account misrepresenting the game or Konami is a scam and not associated with the company.
This Beta Test scam is not unprecedented in the video game industry, particularly for highly anticipated upcoming titles. Previously, a playtest scam for Elden Ring Nightreign gained significant attention among fans due to its enticing invitations.
Even the developer of The Witcher 4 recently had to step in to warn fans about a similar issue.
